What a weekend! Today was better with the lack of rain, but still cold and wintery and miserable... But we braved it anyway!

2nd    Novice: Megan & The Grasshopper.  (35 dressage, FODS, half a point out of the lead)

2nd    Preliminary: Jenniffer & Gandalf (Clean XC, one of only a few)

3rd    Beg Novice: Kathryn & Captain Morgan. (39.5 dressage, FODS)

4th    Beg Novice: Emily & Owen (39 dressage, would have won without 3 speed faults from XC! Ooops!) 

5th    Novice: Megan & The Illusionist (38 dressage)

7th    Preliminary: Kathryn & Super Nova (Amazing in the pouring rain!)

7th    Novice:  Ali & Spring Loaded (38 dressage)

8th    Preliminary: Rene & Spartacus (35 dressage, all in the pouring rain!)

8th    Novice: Eliza & Mood Indigo (A wow for having only ridden him once before this event!  Go Indy!)

Killian was a star in stadium, and jumped beautifully to add to their 0/0 in XC... Really showing that he and Holly are bored at Novice and ready to go Training!

Finishing their first BN:  Hannah & Pongo, with a fantastic 4-fault round in stadium in her first horse trial ever, and at only 9yo!!!  (Go pongo!)

Finishing their first Novice: Thatcher, who was a total super star, and is really starting to learn what this is about, all in only his second event!

Congratulations to all who were able to tough it out!  We were missing a few of our favorite people this weekend due to the flu and minor (non-riding) injuries.... We hope they are all feeling better, and we miss you!
