11/6 Aiken planning ![]() I would love to have some feedback from anyone who is considering joining us on the Aiken trip in March. Here are a couple of questions... You are welcome to respond anonymously if you prefer. What would you think of going down from March 8 (evening) to March 18? I would normally plan to leave on the 9th instead, but Jumping Branch HT starts on the 9th and, if we can afford the extra day, it would help alot to be settled in and ready to start the horse trial. Or some of us could leave Thurs & some on Fri... Just travel in two groups instead of one. 2006-11-07 02:16:49 GMT

I don't mind leaving on Friday if i can go. But if i do go I don't have a live-in trailer so i would prefer a hotel.

Cheap is good! I don't have a trailer with LQ either but I could probably sleep in the trailer anyway (I did at Rolex last year) or pitch a tent if they'd let me.

If I am able to go, I definitely won't be able to leave on the 8th...my last day of classes is the 9th, and I still will have to take a final exam at some point! But I'm coming from a different place than you guys anyway, so it doesn't really matter. :) --Nancy

Eighth departure probably best if show starts the 9th. Old bones that have to ride don't do well without creature comforts, so hotel/share or other my preference if I can go.

I have a three day weekend (from the 8th to the 9th/I don't have spring break that week) and my mom and I might have a room and we'd be willing to split the cost with someone, but that would only be for a few days...I'll look into it.

Hi, I would love to split lodging (cabin, etc.) with other people. If I am able to go I would like to go and settle in a couple of days before Jumping Branch and possibely school x-country in S.C. I would probably take 2 horses or possibly 3. Sounds like fun. It was great last year.
